Sneak Peek into 'Leo' Movie Trailer: What to Expect

Around 28 lakh views in just 30 minutes is something to talk about. Leo trailer is breaking records on YouTube within minutes after being posted. The craze is the ultimate for Lokesh Kanakaraj’s new movie which will be released this October. But how good was the trailer? Was it worth the wait for the fans and audience?

LCU is the talk of the town? The Lokesh cinematic universe connects some of the filmmaker's incredible movies in one world. They filled this world with Kaithi, and Vikram, and now will Leo enter this universe?
The trailer is hinting at it loud.

The trailer starts with Vijay’s voice narrating a serial killer story. This story introduces specific characters and gradually jumps into the central plot. As the narration stops, Sanjay Dutt makes his appearance, grabbing the audience.

The mixers of warm red tone with a white Kashmir background show the difference between two prime locations where the story might revolve.
The trailer also reveals that there might be a major transition in the protagonist’s character in the film. Something that is normal in Lokesh’s film. But this trailer didn’t have the gripping effect that Kaithi delivered. Maybe the movie could prove us wrong.

But the ultimate thing that captured my attention was how the transition worked. This took the overall attention and pulled us into the trailer. Around the time 1:30, the character transition happens, and the overall screen presence from defense changes to offense. With the Badass track in the background, each punch shifts into a blast; literally.
There was a scene hinting at a car chase. Hope it delivers a new version and a good example for upcoming commercial movies; not like what we saw in the Master.
Last scene; young Vijay with a gun was a bit cliché but the entire trailer was a perfect delivery for the fans to celebrate.

Maybe the director was silently giving us a hint of a double role or we just felt one character’s transition. The subtle shift can be the entire movie or can lead to the overall collapse of the great LCU.

Let’s wait and see if the hype is real and works out in the theaters on October 19th.
